COLONEL SHARPE. U.S. Army Colonel Dexter Sharpe is a high ranking officer who has worked with the G.I. Joe team. Sharpe was unavailable to assist the Joes in the conflict known as World War III, in which nearly every living member of the team participated. One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.
Sharpe only appeared in Sunbow's G.I. Joe cartoon series. In that series, he was Duke's superior before the introduction of General Hawk. His full name was revealed in the book G.I. Joe vs. Cobra: The Essential Guide.
