DROP ZONE. The code name used by U.S. Army Master Sergeant Samuel C. Delisi, born in Poteau, Oklahoma. He worked with the G.I. Joe team before it was shut down in 1994, as weapons specialist of the Sky Patrol. He also served as a Special Forces advisor. Today, like many Joes, Drop Zone is a reserve member of the team. He was assigned to G.I. Joe's quick reaction force during the conflict known as World War III.
