DOUBLE BLAST. The code name used by U.S. Army Master Sergeant Charles L. Griffith, born in Dayton, Ohio. Double Blast is a heavy machine gunner, as well as an electrical engineer who can repair any machinery. He eventually went on to work with the reinstated G.I. Joe team. Today, like many Joes, he is a reserve member of the team. Double Blast was stationed in Philippines during the conflict known as World War III.
