BUSHIDO. The code name used by U.S. Army Sergeant Lloyd S. Goldfine, born in Hollis Queens, New York. A cold weather specialist, Bushido was inspired by famed ninjas Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow, and taught himself the ninja arts in Iceland. He wore a samurai helmet like his father did. As a member of the Ninja Force, he worked with the G.I. Joe team before it was shut down in 1994. Today, like many Joes, Bushido is a reserve member of the G.I. Joe team. He served with other Joes in the Philippines during the conflict known as World War III.

One of many Joes listed on World War III member assignment map first seen in AE #28.
